The wait is over! Microsoft the Creation version on 8/19/2015 for Windows 10. In case you are interested in checking it all out the tools’ launch comes together with Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview 3. A couple of caveats, remote server administration tools is only going to work on complete versions of Windows 10 Professional and Enterprise and there is not currently any support for Windows RT.. You’ll have to uninstall it before installing this version In case you had installed any prior release of this tool. You could observe that Microsoft left out the majority of the IP address management applications. DHCP control isn’t contained, and MS has said that admins may use Powershell to administer DHCP servers. We’ll see this re-added in the not too distant future.
I had a problem getting this to work as I’d Attempted installing the Windows 10 RSAT Preview that was non-functional from Windows 10 Enterprise’s production launch. It did not look beneath the upgrades for me As soon as I looked to uninstall. I set up the newest version of RSAT but discovered it was not working, along with the Remote Server Administration Tool attributes did not look menu on or off under the Switch Windows attributes. I uninstalled it, discovered KB 2693643 beneath the Installed Upgrades, and re-installed that the tools. This time the attributes showed up along with the tools were functional under the MMC console.
